This year's Sakhalin Oil and Gas 2020 conference was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk from September 30 to October 1 under the patronage of the Governor of Sakhalin Region V. Limarenko, with the participation of the operators of the Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2 projects and the largest oilfield service companies in the region. JSC Gazproektinzhiniring has traditionally participated in this event, demonstrating its key design and engineering capabilities.

On the eve of the Forum's opening on September 29, a working meeting with representatives of companies operating on Sakhalin was held under the chairmanship of the Governor of the region. The main goal of the meeting was to attract as many organisations as possible to the Sakhalin Oil and Gas Industrial Park as residents and tenants of the production and infrastructure areas. Deputy Director General A. Sarkisov gave a report on behalf of JSC Gazproektinzhiniring, informing the audience about the company's core competencies and activities in the region.

During the conference, an annual exhibition was organised, where JSC Gazproektinzhiniring presented the developed concepts of the Sakhalin Oil and Gas Industrial Park, the office building of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk LLC at its stand, and demonstrated an interactive model of the Sakhalin Energy office complex. In addition, GPI presented its digital information modelling capabilities based on Aveva Engage software.

According to the results of the exhibition, the company took the 3rd place in the first nomination "The Best Exhibition Stand" among the expositions presented (the first and second places went to Exxon Neftegaz Limited and Sakhalin Energy Limited). The Company was also awarded the Sakhalin Energy Diploma for outstanding contribution to the development of Russian participation in the Sakhalin-2 project.

On the last day of the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Sakhalin Region Development Corporation and JSC Gazproektinzhiniring on the joint implementation of the Sakhalin Oil and Gas Industrial Park project, under which JSC Gazproektinzhiniring will be awarded a contract for the development of design and detail design documents in the first stage.

This once again confirms JSC Gazproektinzhiniring as one of the best oilfield service companies in Sakhalin Region.
