The gas distribution station provides gas supply to the southern part of Saratov, as well as adjacent settlements of Saratov District. In order to increase the reliability of gas supply to consumers, increase the productivity of the GDS due to the increased demand for gas, and ensure the accuracy of measuring the flow of supplied gas, a complete replacement of outdated, physically worn-out equipment, pipelines and utilities of the Saratov GDS-7 will be made.

The design documents provides for modification by building a new GDS on a new site, which will significantly increase the reliability of the gas supply to the southern part of Saratov and nearby settlements of Saratov Region. In addition, conditions will be created for connecting new consumers.
