Compressor shop No.4 of Polyanskaya CS of the Chelyabinsk – Petrovsk gas pipeline was commissioned in 1961 and operated as part of a single transport scheme of three gas pipelines: Chelyabinsk – Petrovsk, Urengoy – Petrovsk, Urengoy – Novopskov.

Polyanskaya CS compressor shop modification project provides for the replacement of eight existing gas pumping units GTC-10-4 with five GPU-16R Ufa with the modification of piping of the GPU superchargers, as well as the starting circuit systems.

In addition, the project provides for gas treatment and cooling plants, fuel, start and pulse gas packages, as well as a gas distribution station to meet the needs of the CS and the residential settlement.
