The Power of Siberia is the most extensive gas transportation system. The length is about 3000 km. The diameter is 1420 mm. The working pressure is 9.8 MPa. Export capacity — 38 billion cubic meters per year. The pipeline route passes through the territories of three subjects of the Russian Federation: Irkutsk Region, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and Amur Region.

The pipeline route runs in extreme natural and climatic conditions and overcomes swampy, mountainous, and seismically active territories, areas with permafrost and rocky soils. The absolute minimum air temperatures on the territory of the passage of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline range from - 41 ° C in Amur Region to - 62 ° C in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
