The Company has completed the project of a high-pressure gas pipeline in Yelabuga, passing along the bottom of the Kama River. The difficulty was that it was necessary to pass a water crossing with a length of 1297 m through the territory of tthe Nizhnaya Kama National Park. According to federal laws, no work can be carried out in national parks. Therefore, an ecosystem approach to the project was used to minimize the environmental impact and reduce the construction time.

Specialists of the Rostov Branch of JSC Gazproektinzhiniring implemented a new technology for laying a gas pipeline in a trenchless way — the "direct pipe" microtunneling method, such solutions are rare in world practice. It is also the first project in Russia in terms of the development of environmental documents, which has received two building permits from federal and republican authorities.
